In general, we recommend all students to live on campus in order to nurture their ability to be independent and prepare them for their overseas study. Resident students generally leave school on Friday afternoon and return to school on Sunday afternoon.

Our tuition fee is determined by the market and our administration cost, which also strictly follow the price bureau’s standard. Tuition fees collected are used to create first-class learning and living environment for our students. The tuition fees will be put into the introduction of high quality international educational resources and advanced teaching facilities.

Our Chinese executive principal is Mr Gao, foreign academic principal is an A-Level expert, Mr Tam. Our teaching team is composed of academic leaders and key teachers who focus on international education and teaching. Student management is supported by the highly experienced staff team of Guangyi Experimental School.

Our curriculum includes the A-Level curriculum and the Advanced Placement Program. Base on in-depth research and experimentation of the current international high school curriculum, we have developed a suitable international high school curriculum system for Chinese students with renowned education experts and consultants team from all over the world. Our educational Philosophy is to combine of the merits of Chinese and western education. Except our basic curriculum we also provide abundant elective courses and social practice activities to promote the versatility and excellence of our students and prepare them for top-notch higher education in the future.

To ensure the quality of teaching, we introduced small class, discussion based, student-centered model of teaching. We particularly focus on student’s practical ability. Our A-Level foreign teachers are certified by Cambridge University and have many years of teaching experience as well as our Chinese teachers.

We gradually introduce higher proportional of English language of instruction from grade 10 to grade 12. In order to ensure the quality of teaching, we arranged EAP (English for Academic Purpose) for each course. The Chinese bilingual teacher will give full counseling, tracking, consultation and feedback.

(2) The bilingual teaching model retains the characteristics of traditional Chineses education such as academic rigor and deligence, but also combines with the vibrance, inspriation and creativity imparted with western educaton.

(3) Our A-Level curriculum has been accredited by the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), and AP curriculum has been accredited by the American College Board to be one of its Test Center. This demonstrates that our educational philosphy, curriculum design, teaching quality and facility have reached international level.

(4) Our innovative quality-oriented education system can develop students' well-rounded personality as well as improve their problem-solving capability.

We have specially established a Student Service Center consisting of several departments to provide a full range of student services, such as the Counselling Center, Examination Office, International Education Development Office, dedicated to provide college application counselling, international examination service, extra-curricular activities organization and other services. In addition, we adopt Guangyi's original student management model to cultivate and nurture students in terms of behavior norms, moral value, and mental health.

GIA emphasizes on building a global humanistic environment and living atmosphere, helping students to acheive smooth transition in psychological and physical sense to higher ecuation in overseas colleges, allowing them to present their unique talents in various aspects, fostering their compassion and responsibility for the greater good.

Firstly, we set up ASDAN quality courses covering 38 elective subjects. Our students can participate in the international competitions organized by the ASDAN.

Secondly, we organize a variety of community activities, allowing each student to participate in extra-curricular activities four times per week on average. Moreover, we encourage students to develop creative activities and volunteer service on their own. During these activities, our counselors will inspire students to develop their own initiative and independent thinking.

Finally, as a permanent office of GIA, the Counselling Center has professional and experienced admission counselors to help each student tailor their activities.
